June 12, 2020 – City of Midland Public Services will begin its final round of curbside flood debris collection on Monday, June 15. Residents should have all flood-damaged items at the curb by Sunday, June 14 to ensure collection.
Collection will begin on Eastman Road and proceed west towards Dublin Avenue. A daily schedule of anticipated collection areas will be provided online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/publicservices and on the City’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
Regular heavy item and brush collection has been suspended citywide until flood debris collection is completed.
Residential and commercial customers can also visit the Sanitary Landfill to dispose of trash, yard waste, and flood debris at this time. All customers dropping off waste, including flood debris, will be required to report where the waste originated from for State of Michigan reporting requirements. The Landfill’s regular operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
