Annual Pavement Marking Program Coming Soon

A black asphalt road with yellow painted lines

September 4, 2020 – The streets of Midland will be receiving a fresh coat of paint in the coming weeks as contractors begin repainting traffic lane markings around the city.

Freshly-painted lines will be marked with traffic cones. To avoid paint splatter on vehicles and across pavement, motorists are encouraged to avoid driving between traffic cones or over any markings that appear to be wet. Once the paint has dried, cones will be removed and normal traffic movements may resume.

For more information, contact City Engineering at 989-837-3348.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates on the City website, www.cityofmidlandmi.gov, and on the City’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
