[ARCHIVED] Walking/Biking Trail Closed through Friday for Tree Removal

January 25, 2021 – The asphalt walking/biking along the Tittabawassee River to the east of the Farmers Market will be closed from the Farmers Market to Rodd Street beginning Tuesday, January 26 as contractors perform tree pruning and removal near the trail.

The trail will be closed from 7 a.m. 5 p.m. daily from Tuesday, January 26 through Friday, January 29. In addition, parking along the outer circle at the Farmers Market and the parking lot located south of Ann Street between McDonald and Rodd streets will be closed for brush staging. 

Other Farmers Market parking lots, the circle, and the Tridge will remain open while work is underway.
The trail and closed parking areas are expected to reopen by the end of the day on Friday, January 29.
