[ARCHIVED] Walking/Biking Trail Closed for Debris Removal

February 22, 2021 – The asphalt walking/biking along the Tittabawassee River will be closed from the Poseyville Bridge to State Street beginning Monday, February 22 as contractors perform flood debris and brush removal near the trail.

In addition, parking spots along Main Street adjacent to the trail between the Poseyville Bridge and State Street will be closed. Other trail and parking areas will remain open while work is underway.

The trail and parking areas are tentatively anticipated to reopen by end of day on Friday, February 26; however, additional closures spanning into the following week may be necessary. Additional communications will be issued should the trail remain closed beyond February 26.
