March 26, 2021 – Families will flock to Downtown Midland on Saturday, April 10 from 12 – 4 p.m. to enjoy a little farm-themed fun while they shop and dine! During the annual Downtown Story Day, guests can settle into a cozy space at participating locations to hear a dramatic reading of a children’s farm animal picture book carefully selected by youth librarians at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library.

Following each story time, guests can enter for a chance to win the farm animal books read at Downtown Story Day. The raffle will be held the week of April 12 with all books mailed to the winners.

In addition to story time, the Downtown Development Authority will bring a little bit of the farm to Main Street! Children can feed and pet goats during Downtown Story Day courtesy of Grandma’s Pumpkin Patch.

Downtown Story Day participating locations and stories include:

  • Ace Hardware & Sports - Giggle, Giggle, Quack
