[ARCHIVED] Civic Arena Ideal for Field Trips

January 9, 2015 – A special opportunity awaits those looking for a unique school field trip.

The Midland Civic Arena offers free admission during school hours for preschool to elementary school groups with at least 20 children per group. Activities include 1.5 hours of ice time and skate rental.

School trips are a fun and educational tool. Kids can learn to skate and get exercise in the process. Students also have a chance to learn about how the ice stays cool, how friction makes skates work on the ice, and more. For additional information on this program, visit our website at www.midlandcivicarena.com.

If your child is interested in additional indoor activities to keep them busy this winter, check out public skating, hockey, figure skating, speed skating, soccer, flag football, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. The arena also offers rental for birthday parties. Of special note: laser tag is coming soon!

Call 837-5780 or visit www.midlandcivicarena.com for more information.
