[ARCHIVED] April Media Creator Workshop at MCTV Network

April 16, 2021 – The Midland Community Television (MCTV) Network is offering a media creator workshop to residents and nonprofit organizations located in Midland County on Wednesday, April 28 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. 

At this workshop, attendees will learn how MCTV can help share a story to inform, communicate, educate, and entertain the community. In just one session, participants will learn how to get started with producing a TV show, creating an audio podcast, putting a video creation on YouTube, and serving the community by volunteering with MCTV.

Pre-registration is required. Register by calling 989-837-3474 or stopping by the MCTV office located in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library during regular business hours. Cost to attend is $45, which includes a $20 workshop fee and a one-year MCTV user membership for $25. To use the MCTV Network, you must be a resident of the City or County of Midland over the age of 12.

Midland Community Television is located in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library at 1710 W. St. Andrews Rd. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening and Saturday hours are available by request. MCTV is a service of the City of Midland.
