Patrons can purchase alcoholic beverages from any approved participating establishment and take the beverages anywhere within The Commons boundaries. The area’s boundaries extend from Gordon Street to Rodd Street and Main Street to Larkin Street and will be clearly marked with signage so patrons know where outdoor beverages are permitted. All beverages must be disposed of prior to exiting the designated Commons area.

Approved establishments include:

  • Diamond Jim’s
  • Grape Beginnings Winery
  • Gratzi
  • The H Hotel
  • Molasses Smokehouse + Bar
  • Pizza Sam’s
  • WhichCraft Taproom

“Downtown Midland is excited to offer The Commons feature,” said City of Midland Community Affairs Director Selina Tisdale.  “We look forward to our visitors strolling the designated area, enjoying an adult beverage and the many entertainment features planned this summer.”
