[ARCHIVED] Midland Girls Softball League Announces Fast Pitch Spring League

Midland Girls Softball League (MGSL), in collaboration with the Midland Parks and Recreation Department, announces spring girls' softball registration.

The MGSL spring season is a six-week recreational league for girls ages 5-13 in Midland and surrounding areas. Youth will play twice a week on designated nights. Except for opening day and the end-of-season tournament, all games are at 6 p.m. Spring play begins on Saturday, April 25.

Registrations will be accepted from January 15-February 28, with playing fees determined by a participant’s age. From March 1-13, late registrations will be accepted, with a late fee of $10 applied. Register online at www.themgsl.org. Fees may be covered by a credit card or check.

Each girl must provide a copy of her birth certificate to Parks and Recreation in order to play. Returning players may already have a copy on file at the Parks and Recreation Office.

For more information and/or to verify birth certificate status, contact Parks and Recreation at recreation@midland-mi.org or call 989-837-6930 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Detailed information regarding the league can be found at www.themgsl.org.
