June 18, 2021 – Following the expiration of State orders permitting remote public meetings for government organizations, the City of Midland will resume in-person public meetings for the Midland City Council and all City boards and commissions on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has provided updated recommendations regarding social distancing and mask usage; however, while individuals may continue to practice these activities if desired, neither will be required for in-person public meetings.

Residents may continue to watch live televised meetings of the Midland City Council and nine of the City’s 16 boards and commissions, including the Planning Commission; Parks & Recreation Commission; Downtown Development Authority Board; and more via the following methods:

  • Cable television on Charter Spectrum channel 188 & U-verse channel 99
  • Streaming on Roku and Apple TV via the MCTV Network app
  • Streaming online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/livestream via the “Government Television” link
