July 2, 2021 – A construction project that will bring curb and gutter replacements and resurfacing of S. Saginaw Road from Dartmouth Drive to E. Patrick Road is expected to begin the week of July 5.

One lane of traffic in each direction on S. Saginaw Road will be closed from Dartmouth to Patrick during construction. Access to businesses located in the construction zone will be maintained; however, left turns will be restricted while milling and paving work is being completed on the interior travel lanes. Motorists traveling within the construction zone should drive with caution while work is underway.

This project is expected to be completed in August 2021.

For more information, contact City Engineering at 989-837-3348 or view project updates at http://bit.ly/midlandroads. Updates will also be shared on the City of Midland Facebook page at facebook.com/cityofmidlandmi and on Twitter at @CityofMidlandMI.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates via the methods listed above.
