[ARCHIVED] Reminder: Submit Beautification Award Nominations Now

July 16, 2021  Don’t wait – the deadline is almost here to nominate Midland’s most beautiful outdoor spaces for the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards. The deadline to nominate a property is Sunday, August 1.

Residents are encouraged to nominate the property of a friend, neighbor, family member, or even a stranger for their work to make Midland a beautiful community. Awards will be given in the categories of Landscaping Accomplishments and Structural/Site Improvements made to residential and non-residential (business) property. The Bette R. Tollar Civic Commitment Award recognizes major beautification accomplishments that benefit the community as a whole.

Please remember: only properties within the City of Midland are eligible for awards.

A digital nomination form can be found on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/beautyawards.

At this time, recipients of this year’s awards will be recognized and honored at a ceremony in November.

For additional information, visit the Municipal Service Center, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, or contact Midland Parks and Recreation at 989-837-6930 or by email at recreation@midland-mi.org
