July 16, 2021 – The MCTV Network invites future media personalities ages 12 – 17 to sign up for its first ever Sports Broadcasting Camp held August 2 – 5 from 1 – 5 p.m. During this camp, participants will be exposed to all aspects of sports broadcast on community media, including technical aspects of video production, live sports coverage, and being on-air talent. Campers will also experience with a variety of production equipment used in the creation of televised sports.
In addition to instruction from MCTV staff, production staff from Dow Diamond and ESPN 100.9-FM will provide campers with tours and insight into the world of professional sports commentary, sports radio operations, and game-day video operation.
