September 24, 2021 – Students in grades 6 – 12 are invited to participate in the Library’s Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition for the chance to win gift cards. Using the theme “Fall into Reading”, participants will use chalk to fulfill their artistic vision in a designated space on the Library sidewalk.
Chalk pick-up and space assignment begins Wednesday, October 13 at 9 a.m. After that time, participants can decorate their assigned space anytime, whether the Library is open or not, from October 13 through 10 p.m. on October 21. Judging will take place October 22, with three lucky participants winning gift cards to local businesses.
Registration is required. Please register online using the Library calendar at gadml.librarycalendar.com beginning October 1. Registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12.
