November 19, 2021 – The spirit of the Christmas season is landing soon at the Jack Barstow Municipal Airport – including a possible visit from the man in red himself!
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1093 has received word from the North Pole that a special holiday guest will make a special landing at Barstow Airport on Sunday, December 5 at 1 p.m. “Santa Watch” will begin in the beautiful outdoor Aviation Discovery Area at noon. During the Santa Watch party, guests can visit an on-site food truck, write letters to the Big Guy, and enjoy a festive story time from the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library. Letter writing materials and take-home craft bags will be provided at the event.
After Santa lands and deplanes, those in attendance can line up to see him and Mrs. Claus and give him their letter.
