[ARCHIVED] City Recycling Contractor Postpones Tuesday Collection

February 22, 2022 – The City of Midland’s recycling contractor, Republic Services, has announced that it has postponed recycling collection for City residents on Tuesday, February 22 due to inclement weather.

Tuesday Week 3 recycling customers should leave their bins at the curb for collection on Wednesday, February 23. Wednesday Week 3 recycling customers will be collected on their regularly-scheduled collection day.

City refuse collection for Tuesday, February 22 and Wednesday, February 23 will run as scheduled. Residents are encouraged to proceed with setting out refuse items for collection as they normally would.

Residents can stay up-to-date on service changes and alerts by visiting the City’s website, www.cityofmidlandmi.gov, following the City’s Facebook and Twitter channels at @CityofMidlandMI, or by subscribing to the City’s email service at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/cityhallnews.
