March 18, 2022 – The Pere-Marquette Rail Trail will be closed from the Emerson Park entrance to Currie Parkway daily from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, March 23 as crews remove invasive vegetation and create additional clearance along the trail.

The trail will reopen daily around 3:30 p.m. and close again the following morning at 7 a.m. through Wednesday, March 30. It is anticipated that work will be completed on March 30.

Due to the dangers of flying debris and high-powered equipment in use, it is critical that trail users do not disregard closure barricades and remain out of the trail closure area while work is underway.
