[ARCHIVED] Main Street Closed March 22 – 25 for Tree Work

Forestry Map of W Main closure from Orchard to Sugnet


March 21, 2022 – Main Street will be closed to through traffic from Orchard Drive to W. Sugnet Road daily Tuesday, March 22 through Friday, March 25 as City of Midland Forestry crews perform tree work.

Work is estimated to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting. Once work has been completed each day, Main Street will reopen to vehicle traffic.

Northbound traffic on Main will be detoured around the closure using northbound Orchard Drive to W. Sugnet Road. Southbound traffic on Main will be detoured westbound on W. Sugnet to Orchard.

Due to the nature of these activities, work may be rescheduled if conditions warrant.
