The three-legged Tridge footbridge spans over the river with purple lilacs and green grass around

June 14, 2022 – Over the next several weeks, individual legs of the Tridge will be closed for cleaning, metal painting, and handrail staining beginning with the Chippewassee leg on Wednesday, June 15.

Midland Parks and Recreation will close the leg being treated each morning at approximately 8 a.m. and, on most days, will reopen it around 5 p.m. that day. Each leg is expected to be closed for two weeks while work is underway. Legs not being cleaned or stained at the time will remain open for use.

The entire project is expected to take approximately six (6) weeks to complete.

For more information, please contact Midland Parks and Recreation at 989-837-6930.
