[ARCHIVED] Touch A Truck Returns to the Library July 21

June 24, 2022 – After a two-year “no touch” vehicle parade, the City of Midland’s annual Touch A Truck event is back in its original format. Little vehicle enthusiasts can see, touch, and climb behind the wheel of many of the City’s heavy equipment, including refuse and dump trucks, loaders, police vehicles, fire equipment, and more!

Touch A Truck 2022 will be held Thursday, July 21 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, located at 1710 W. St. Andrews Road. In the event of rain or severe weather, Touch A Truck will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 28.

To promote safe passage for pedestrians, St. Andrews Road will be closed to through traffic just west of the Library. Please use Eastman Avenue to access the Library as the Library parking lot will not be accessible from Orchard Drive.

Touch A Truck is free and open to everyone.

For more information, contact the Library at 989-837-3430 or visit
