[ARCHIVED] City Offices, Services Closed for Independence Day

June 24, 2022  City of Midland offices and most services will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day.  

Residents with Monday refuse and Monday recycle Week 1 collection will receive collection on Tuesday, July 5. Please place items at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5 to ensure pick-up. Residents with Tuesday through Friday collection will be collected on their regular collection day. 

The Sanitary Landfill will be open regular Saturday hours on Saturday, July 2 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. and will be closed on Monday, July 4. 

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) will be closed on Monday, July 4. The Jack Barstow Airport will be unattended.
