[ARCHIVED] Plymouth Pool Closed Until Further Notice

June 28, 2022 – City of Midland Parks and Recreation has announced that Plymouth Pool will be closed until further notice due to a positive test for total coliform bacteria.

A routine water sampling test conducted today indicated that total coliform bacteria levels were present. Midland Parks and Recreation is working in conjunction with the Midland County Health Department to take immediate corrective action and restore water quality.

A follow-up water sampling test will be conducted on Thursday, June 30. An update will be provided on the City of Midland website, the Parks and Recreation Rainout Line, and Midland Parks and Recreation’s social media channels when the pool can reopen for use.

For questions and further information, contact the Parks and Recreation office at 989-837-6930 or email recreation@midland-mi.org. Residents can check the status of Plymouth Pool via the Parks and Recreation Rainout Line by calling 989-399-0506 or at www.rainoutline.com
