[ARCHIVED] Public Invited to Poseyville Restoration Project Kickoff

August 18, 2022 – The Midland community is invited to get a sneak peek at project designs and learn more about the Poseyville Riverfront Restoration project during a ceremonial construction kickoff event on Monday, August 22 at 2 p.m. at 301 River Street in Midland.

The kickoff event will include project renderings available for viewing, a ceremonial groundbreaking, and remarks from members of local government, private industry, and philanthropic support. 

The Poseyville Riverfront Restoration project spans a 19-acre footprint on the south side of the Tittabawassee River just south of Poseyville Road and includes the restoration of a10-acre former industrial site. When completed, the space will include natural wetland and park land areas, accessible trails, native plants and vegetation, and a pedestrian footbridge spanning the Tittabawassee River.
