September 16, 2022 – All residents in Wards 4 and 5 are invited to attend a meeting with representatives from Consumers Energy that will address the recent frequency of power outages in the northeast area of the city.
The meeting, hosted by Ward 4 City Councilwoman Diane Brown Wilhelm and Ward 5 City Councilman Marty Wazbinski, will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 6 p.m. in Shelter F at Plymouth Park, 1508 E. Wheeler Street.
Topics of discussion at the meeting will include an overview of the cause for recent power outages and Consumers Energy’s plans to address these issues, including forestry efforts, review of current lines, and infrastructure improvements. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions to Consumers staff.
