[ARCHIVED] Touch & Glo 5K, Prop Trot at Jack Barstow Airport

October 7, 2022  The Jack Barstow Municipal Airport is excited to announce a new event, the Touch & Glo 5K Run and Prop Trot, on Friday, October 28.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with the Prop Trot, a fun-run for kids ages 12 and under. After the run, kids are invited to stay and enjoy Props and Treats, a trick-or-treating event sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) from 6:30 – 7 p.m., and Move and Grove sponsored by the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library. At 7 p.m., runners will light up the night as staff light up the runways for the Touch and Glo 5K. Costumes and glow swag are encouraged!

The 5K race will be chip timed by Miller Race Management. Each registrant will receive a tee shirt (while supplies last) and medal for participating. Cost is $30 per runner with event proceeds going to support future airport improvements. Register online at touchandglow5k.itsyourrace.com by Sunday, October 16 to guarantee a shirt at registration.

The Jack Barstow Municipal Airport is located at 2800 Airport Rd in Midland. For more information on the airport, visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/airport or contact airport staff at airport@midland-mi.org or 989-492-0252.
