[ARCHIVED] 'Name the Plow' Community Voting Round Now Open

October 28, 2022 – After receiving nearly 300 name submissions, it’s time to name the plows! The community voting round of the City’s Name the Plow contest is now open at

Now through Friday, November 4 at 5 p.m., residents can cast their vote for their favorite plow name from a list of 20 staff-selected options. The six names with the most community votes will be assigned to a member of the City’s snow removal fleet. Winning names will be announced and winners notified on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Visit to vote! Residents without internet access can contact the Community Affairs office at 989-837-3307 to cast a vote.
