February 10, 2023 – On Monday, February 13, crews will begin a construction project to make repairs to the Currie Parkway Bridge.
The work scope includes replacement of structural steel members, replacement of the concrete deck and street reconstruction from the bridge to Golfside Drive. Construction is estimated to be completed by the end of May 2023.
The Currie Parkway Bridge has been closed since October 2021 when damage from oversized vehicle traffic using the bridge was discovered. Upon reopening, the bridge will return to a one-way traffic pattern for eastbound vehicle traffic only.
