[ARCHIVED] Now Accepting Appreciation of Beautification Nomination Forms

Midland’s Beautification Advisory Committee would like you to nominate a friend, neighbor, or even someone you don’t know for doing an outstanding job of making Midland more beautiful.

The committee is accepting nominations for the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards in the categories of Landscaping Accomplishments and Structural/Site Improvements made to residential and non-residential (business) property. The Bette R. Tollar Civic Commitment Award recognizes major beautification accomplishments that benefit the community as a whole.

Properties within the city of Midland are eligible for awards.

Nomination forms are available at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, City Hall, and the Municipal Service Center or on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/beautification. The nomination deadline is Saturday, August 1.

Recipients of this year’s awards will be recognized and honored at a ceremony in November.

For additional information, visit the Municipal Service Center, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, or contact Marcie Post at 837-6936 or by email at mpost@midland-mi.org.
