City of Midland voters can return their completed absentee ballots two ways:

  • Mail the signed and sealed postage paid purple return envelope via United States Postal Service; or
  • Drop the signed and sealed purple return envelope in any of the Official Ballot Drop Boxes. Drop boxes are located in the following locations:
    • Inside the City Hall lobby, accessible during City Hall office hours
    • Outside the Larkin Street entrance to City Hall, accessible 24/7
    • Outside the main entrance to the Midland Civic Arena, accessible 24/7
    • Outside the office entrance to the Barstow Municipal Airport, accessible 24/7
