[ARCHIVED] City Offices and Services Closed April 7 for Good Friday

All City of Midland offices, collection services, and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, April 7 in observance of Good Friday. In addition, the Midland Civic Arena will be closed on Sunday, April 9 in observance of Easter.

Residents with Friday, April 7 refuse and Friday Week 1 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Monday, April 10. Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. 

The City’s Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Good Friday. Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) will observe its normal operating hours on Friday, April 7; Saturday, April 8; and Sunday, April 9 (Easter). 


Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Friday, April 7 and attended for normal hours on Saturday, April 8. It will be unattended on Sunday, April 9 (Easter).
