UPDATE: May 24, 2023: Due to equipment complications, only a small section of the trail was seal coated during this closure. The Rail Trail will remain closed from Dublin Avenue to Sugnet Road until Thursday, May 25. The trail from the Tridge to Dublin Avenue will reopen today and close next week when the weather is better for seal coat drying.

May 22, 2023 – A section of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 23 at 10 p.m. through Wednesday, May 24 as crews seal coat the trail.
The trail will be closed from the Tridge (Mile 0) to Dublin Avenue and is anticipated to reopen on Thursday, May 25. For the safety of trail users and working crews, please do not bypass or move closure barricades.
