Start the Weekend Early with Downtown's Weekend Warm-Up

June 9, 2023 – Why wait until Friday to start the weekend? Jumpstart the weekend every Thursday this summer with Weekend Warm-Up in Downtown Midland!

Beginning Thursday, June 15, more than 20 participating businesses will extend hours into the evening and offer shopping and dining specials available exclusively on Thursday nights. Weekend Warm-Up attendees can also visit the Larkin Beer Garden, open Thursdays and Fridays from 4 – 10 p.m.; enjoy Tunes by the Tridge on Thursdays at 7 p.m., and at dusk, settle in for a free movie at Ace Hardware for Movies on Main.

"This is a great way to show support for small, local businesses as they open their doors a little later into the evening in response to numerous requests we've seen over the years," said Community Affairs Director Selina Harris. "We hope the community supports this fun opportunity to shop, dine and socialize – and support small business - in Downtown Midland."
