New Landfill Disposal Fees Take Effect July 1

June 16, 2023 – City of Midland Landfill users are reminded that disposal fees and special services fees at the Landfill will increase effective July 1, 2023.  

Current and future fees for select waste types generated in Midland County are as follows:

These fee increases mark the second increase to Landfill pricing in 30 years and were approved by the Midland City Council on May 22, 2023 to account for inflation and increased operational costs.  

Midland County residents may dispose of up to three (3) cubic yards of household refuse or yard waste from their personal residences per month in a single visit at no charge, with a fee charged for additional volume and subsequent visits. Proof of Midland County residency is required.
