August 11, 2023 – All dogs on deck: Plymouth Pool is going to the dogs!

Midland Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the 13th annual Pooches at the Pool Dog Swim on Saturday, September 9. During the event, owners will have the opportunity to fetch their Fido and take a swim at Plymouth Pool.

Plymouth Pool features a zero-depth entry and a deep well – perfect for any pooch. Owners ages 8 and older are permitted to enter the water with their pups; however, it is not recommended. Each dog will get 30 minutes in the pool with swim times varying from 10 a.m. – 12:40 p.m. Cost is $8 per dog per session and attending multiple sessions is permitted. This event will be held rain or shine.

Owners will be responsible for providing written or digital proof of spay/neuter and vaccinations on the day of the event (tags do not suffice). Thank you to Midland Animal Clinic for providing this service!

Preregistration and prepayment for this event is recommended. Registration will end when all spots are full and will only be taken on the day of the event if space is available. Register for this event online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/pooch or at the Parks and Recreation Office, 4811 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI 48640.

It’s a dog-eat-dog world, so register early!   This event will fill up quickly.
