MCTV Network to Stream High School Sports This Fall

September 15, 2023 – The MCTV (Midland Community Television) Network will partner with Midland Public Schools to live stream several upcoming high school sporting events for spectators to watch from the comfort of their homes. These events will also be available on-demand on all outlets. 

The following upcoming events will be available to watch live: 

  • Football
    • Midland High School Homecoming – Friday, September 22, 7 p.m.
    • H.H. Dow High Homecoming – Friday, September 29, 7 p.m.
    • H.H. Dow vs. Midland – Friday, October 20, 7 p.m.
  • Volleyball: H.H. Dow vs. Midland – Tuesday, October 24, 7 p.m.  

In addition, the following MPS events will NOT be broadcast live but will be available to view on MCTV later: 

  • Soccer: H.H. Dow vs. Midland – Wednesday, September 27 
  • Marching Band Showcase – Wednesday, October 11

Events may be broadcast live on the MCTV Network Community Messages channel on Charter Spectrum channel 189 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 (select “Midland Community Television”, then select “Community Messages”.) To view these games online, visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/MCTV and click the Live & On-Demand link. 

Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV users can watch these games live or on-demand by downloading the free MCTV Network app. Viewers can also download the free Cablecast Community Media app for Android and iOS devices to watch all live and on-demand local content on their mobile devices.

Midland Community Television is located in the lower level of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library at 1710 W. St. Andrews Rd. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening and Saturday hours are available by request. MCTV is a service of the City of Midland.
