September 28, 2023 – Midland Parks and Recreation has announced that Thrune Park, Gerstacker spray park, and Longview spray park will close for the season at dusk on Sunday, October 8. Thrune Park will reopen in spring 2024, while Gerstacker and Longview spray parks will open in summer 2024.
