[ARCHIVED] Fall Used Book Sale at the Library October 13-15

October 6, 2023 – The Friends of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will hold its Fall Used Book Sale next week at the Library. 

Friends of the Library members can begin shopping before the public on Friday, October 13, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Memberships and renewals can be obtained at the Library Checkout Desk before the sale or at the door on October 13. 

The public sale will begin on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m.  – 4 p.m. and Sunday, October 14 from 1 – 4 p.m. On Sunday, bargain hunters can fill a bag with books for just $5. (Bags will be provided by the Friends of the Library.)

Funds from used book sales provide vital funding for the Library’s services, programs, and events. For more information about the Friends of the Library and how to become a member, please visit
