[ARCHIVED] Midland Resembles America’s Unique Identity

June 25, 2015 – Red, white, and blue… apple pie… and Midland? According to online finance resource WalletHub, Midland is in the top 10 of small communities that most closely match typical America.

WalletHub’s study of various demographical statistics determined that Midland is most similar to other American communities in terms of gender, household income, and educational attainment. The online resource examined 23 key metrics, such as age, gender (male to female ratio), education, and income as well as household makeup and housing tenure of a total of 381 large-, medium-, and small-sized metro areas across the country.

Information from the study can help measure a community’s attractiveness to those looking to move to or start a business in that community.
