[ARCHIVED] City Closures and Service Changes for July 4th Holiday

June 26, 2015 - All City of Midland offices, including the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART), will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. The Jack Barstow Airport will be unattended as well.

The Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, July 3.

The Library, Sanitary Landfill, and DART will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

Refuse will not be collected on Friday, July 3. Instead, a double pickup will be made on Monday, July 6. Residents who live on streets normally scheduled for Friday refuse collection should place refuse at the curb by 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 6 to help ensure collection.
