January 22, 2016 – In December, Annie Thrush joined the City of Midland as Senior Procurement Accountant.
Annie’s position will involve providing a high-quality purchasing service for the City that works efficiently to help reduce overall expenses and streamline the purchasing process. She will coordinate activity involving the MITN Purchasing Group, a regional e-procurement solution that will allow the City to connect with a much larger vendor database.
For 13 years prior to joining the City, Annie worked for Lodgco Hospitality in a variety of positions that involved hotel and procurement/contract management as well as accounting.
Annie is a 2012 graduate of CMU, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is certified as a CPP and CPPM (Certified Purchasing Professional and Certified Professional Purchasing Manager) through the American Purchasing Society.
