The City of Midland will begin accepting applications on February 22 for gardening plots at the Circle Community Garden, located at the intersection of Edwin and Cambridge streets.
Beginning on February 8, applications and information on the program will be available on the City’s website, at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/communitygarden. Applications will also be available for pickup at City Hall, the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, and the Municipal Service Center.
Applications along with a non-refundable $20 fee can be dropped off in person at the Municipal Service Center, located at 4811 N. Saginaw Rd. Beginning February 22, 2016, applications will be accepted until plots are filled. The garden plots will be filled on a first come first served basis, so be sure to apply early.

Gardeners who secure a plot in the organic garden will receive a prepared planting bed in which to grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, or flowers. Gardeners will be responsible for purchasing their own plant material, doing their own planting, and handling the summer maintenance required, including watering and weeding.
