[ARCHIVED] City Hours and Services Affected by Easter Holiday

March 20, 2016 – Many City of Midland offices and services will be affected by the Easter holiday.

All City offices will be closed on Friday, March 25 in recognition of Good Friday.

Residents with Friday, March 25 refuse and Friday, Week 3 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Monday, March 28. Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The Library will maintain its normal Saturday hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation System (DART) will be closed both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. DART bus service will operate Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Phone service will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will attended Friday morning, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 but will be unattended on Easter Sunday.

The Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 25 and 8:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, March 26.
