July 1, 2016 – Beginning Tuesday, July 5, N. Saginaw Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Eastman Avenue to Tucker Street for street reconstruction. In addition, Wheeler Street will be closed in both directions from Tucker Street to Saginaw Road during this time. Motorists traveling through this area should expect traffic congestion and delays.
Eastbound traffic on Wheeler Street with be detoured using Sugnet Road, Saginaw Road, and Jefferson Avenue. Westbound traffic on Wheeler should utilize Tucker Street. The project is scheduled for completion on September 30, 2016.
