[ARCHIVED] Final Paving Operations on Eastman Avenue to Begin October 23

October 21, 2016 – Contractors for MDOT will begin preliminary work on the Eastman Avenue resurfacing project on Friday, October 21. Final paving operations will be conducted during overnight hours and are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 23. Eastman Avenue will be restricted to one lane in each direction from Saginaw Road to Wackerly Street. All lanes in both directions of Eastman Avenue will reopen at 6 a.m. each day and remain open until work resumes at 7 p.m. each evening.

Residents are advised that the overnight road work will create some noise during this time. Pending unforeseen circumstances or bad weather conditions, the project is expected to be completed in two weeks.
