[ARCHIVED] Portion of N. Saginaw Road to Close for Traffic Signal Replacement

November 14, 2016 – On the morning of Wednesday, November 16, crews will close a portion of N. Saginaw Road to replace a traffic signal pole at the Jefferson Avenue cutoff. Saginaw Road will be closed to northbound traffic between Ashman Street and W. St. Andrews Road for approximately one day to complete the project.

Northbound motorists on Saginaw will be detoured to Jefferson Avenue and W. St. Andrews Road. Motorists traveling southbound on Jefferson Avenue that would normally continue onto S. Saginaw Road will be detoured onto Vail Street, Cambridge Street, and E. Ashman Street. Southbound Saginaw Road will remain open to traffic.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the construction area. The closure is expected to be removed by the end of the day on Wednesday. In the event of a delay due to inclement weather, the replacement will be postponed until Thursday, November 17.
