What are the hours for allowable excessive noise in Midland?
There is no set time for permitted excessive noise. Under the City's Code of Ordinances, excessive noise ordinance (Sec. 16-28) applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We must recognize that when living in a city where people generally live in close proximity to one another, there will be different work and sleep habits that must be respected. All members of a community must practice tolerance and have reasonable expectations.
