Patrick Frazee was hired as the City’s Wastewater Superintendent in April 2016 and was promoted to Director of Wastewater Services in June 2019. He previously worked for the Genesee County Drain Commissioner Division of Water and Waste Services, where he served in a variety of roles, including laboratory supervisor, operations supervisor, and assistant treatment plant superintendent. Frazee also worked as an environmental compliance analyst and laboratory technician for the City of Saginaw Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Frazee holds a Class A Wastewater Certification and an Industrial Storm Water Operator Certification from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (formerly MDEQ), and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. In addition to his current role at the City, Frazee also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Water Environmental Technology (WET) program at Delta College and is a member of the program’s Advisory Committee.
